Dan & Julie McGhee

Dan was born in the Chicago area and came to know Christ as a young boy. Shortly after his conversion, he sensed the Lord directing him toward full-time ministry. Dan has a Bachelors Degree in Bible and a Master's of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has had a variety of ministry experience that includes serving on staff at a Christian camp, and as a youth pastor, young adult pastor, and church planter. Dan and his wife, Julie, have three children—Kaylee, D.J. and Sydney. Dan loves all things fast and is really glad that God placed such a car lover right in the Motor City Capital of the world! His hobbies include muscle cars and playing or coaching basketball.

Julie McGhee does the amazing job of balancing with grace so many different responsibilities. She plays both the violin and cello on the worship team at Harvest.  She stays busy taking care of Kaylee, D.J., and Sydney as well as teaching violin and cello lessons. Because she is a true artist at heart, she has gone back to school where she is studying graphic design. She loves to read and is always up for a salon day! Together, Dan and Julie minister as a great team!


Joe Haverlock

Joe is a graduate of Baptist Bible College in Pennsylvania and serves as the Worship Director at Harvest Bible Chapel in Canton.  He loves writing songs, playing his guitar, and Pizza Hut buffet on Tuesdays.  He has an addiction to buying new music, and now apparently writes radio jingles on the side.  Joe and his bride, Juli, were married in June of 2007 and are excited about owning their first home.  They serve together in the High School ministry and on the worship team.



Mike Moses


Mike Moses grew up in metro Detroit. He earned a Bachelors degree in Bible at Bob Jones University, and is completing a Master of Divinity degree at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. Mike enjoys deep conversations, soccer, reading, and Buffalo Wild Wings. He also serves as Director of Ministries at Harvest Bible Chapel, and has a great desire to communicate the glory of Jesus Christ to all who will listen! Mike is looking forward to marrying Bethany Kruger on December 19. Mike and Bethany serve in several different areas at Harvest, including the Middle School and Young Adult ministries.
